Morning Star Heresy is a hybrid music distribution, label services, PR and marketing company, combining a hand-picked label roster with worldwide digital distribution, playlist pitching, PR, social media marketing, promotional campaigns, artist development and in-house cassette manufacturing. Built from the underground and still deeply rooted in heavy music, MSH exists to give independent artists the tools, exposure and support they need to release their music, grow their audience and get heard.

Shane is the founder of Morning Star Heresy, an independent music company built from a genuine obsession with heavy and extreme music. Since launching MSH in 2017, he has developed the company from an underground label into a wider platform supporting artists through distribution, promotion, PR and artist services, working with bands across death metal, deathcore, black metal, doom, hardcore, slam and everything in between. With a focus on finding great music, building opportunities for independent artists and giving heavy bands the tools to get their music heard, Shane continues to push Morning Star Heresy forward while keeping its roots firmly planted in the underground.

He's the PR weapon behind Morning Star Heresy - pushing extreme music into playlists, feeds, pages, ears and audiences that actually listen to metal.
Joy has an extensive background in marketing & technology. He has helped build the foundations of playlists pitching and our own technology. Joy gets music Infront of reviewers, creates relationships and goes above and beyond for artists campaigns.
Joy is consistently growing our network and collecting data on behalf of the business. He then puts it into the engine and delivers.

Isabell is the A&R behind Morning Star Heresy — constantly digging through the underground for bands that hit hard enough to deserve attention.
Deathcore. Brutal death metal. Slam. Death metal. Hardcore. Beatdown. And whatever other disgusting noise catches her ear.

She's listening to demos, singles, EPs, albums and releases from artists at every stage, from bands playing their first shows to acts already building a serious following.
